Citizens Advice Scotland has responded to news that the holiday company Flylolo has cancelled a number of flights from Glasgow Airport, leaving around 900 passengers stranded.
CAS Markets spokesperson Dr Jamie Stewart said:
“It will have been immensely frustrating for passengers to learn at the last minute of these cancellations.
“These passengers need to be reassured that they have rights, and the company should be making it their absolute priority to communicate that to them. If your flight is cancelled you are automatically entitled to either a full refund or a free replacement flight.
“The company has made a commitment to refund passengers within ten working days. They should keep that promise.”
