An online tool designed to help people in Scotland to boost incomes, cut costs and save money is one year old today. 

Child Disability Payment is a new benefit that’s replacing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for disabled children and young people who live in Scotland. It’s paid by Social Security Scotland.

Scotland’s four biggest debt advice charities are today (Wednesday) urging people across the country to seek free advice on money and debt. The call comes during Talk Money week (8-12 November).

Increasing numbers of people are missing energy bill payments because they have run out of money before pay day, new analysis from Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) reveals.

Scottish Government has published a consultation on the regulation of legal services and CABs are invited to participate in the focus groups outlined in the attached.

Thank you to all bureaux who signed up to support Big Energy Saving Winter this year. We reached out to all participating CABs last week to explain that the campaign will be moved back slightly and will now launch Monday 6 December, running until Monday 31 January.
