Submission to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

CAS submitted evidence from the Citizens Advice network in Scotland to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights to raise significant concerns about challenges to/denials of economic, social and cultural rights. Our report focuses on the rights to
•    work and fair conditions of work 
•    social security 
•    an adequate standard of living (including to housing and food) 
•    health 
and includes recommendations to UK and Scottish Government to improve the realisation of our human rights across Scotland and the UK.
