Left in the cold

This paper outlines some of the harms experienced by people living in homes with poor energy efficiency. It follows on from our 2023 report, which identified poor energy efficiency as a strong theme among people seeking repairs type advice. It focuses on the impact that damp and mould had on people who sought help from the Citizens Advice network in Scotland between September 2023 and March 2025.
