Citizens Advice Bureau (Grangemouth & Bo’ness) Ltd. based in Grangemouth, is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic and specialist advice and support to local people.
The Welfare Rights Officer will contribute to this service by supporting volunteers and providing specialist assistance and advocacy to clients at all stages of the social security benefit claiming process, including disputing decisions.
This requires the post holder to have experience of dealing with complex casework, submitting mandatory reconsiderations on behalf of applicants, and representation at appeal tribunals.
This post will initially run for a 1-year period, with continuation beyond this point being dependent on future funding.
