Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS), based in Edinburgh, is the umbrella organisation providing support to Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) across Scotland. The Citizens Advice service helps hundreds of thousands of people resolve their problems each year by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers. Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) works in partnership with Scottish bureaux to ensure an effective quality service for all citizens in Scotland. The Policy and Public Affairs Team of CAS looks at the problems people bring to our advice services and campaigns for change where it’s needed most.
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated administrator to provide an efficient administrative function to a large and busy team. You will provide a professional, responsive and accurate administration service in a fast paced environment.
To fulfil the role effectively, you will have experience in the administration of complex budgets and monitoring expenditure. You will have excellent communication skills and pay close attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy. You will be a team player and be willing to contribute ideas and initiatives to improve the operation and coordination of the team. In addition to having strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills, you will have experience of managing databases and work recording and reporting.
