Stirling CAB is seeking to recruit an experienced case checker to support our existing checkers in promoting a high quality of advice (QAA) practice across the bureau services. Following the quality of advice (QAA) guidelines set out by Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) and the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers (SNSIAP) you will provide an ongoing, high-quality checking, and feedback service on advice cases to our volunteer and paid workers.
The role holder will provide ongoing case checking and feedback to the bureau staff and volunteers on their casework. You will identify any cases requiring remedial action and will report these directly to the Deputy Manager and/or Volunteer Co-ordinator. You will identify advice workers with particular advice or case recording gaps to help clarify training needs both individually and across the service. When required you will assist the Deputy Manager in providing quality of advice training for paid staff and volunteers.
