Big Energy Saving Week 2019 - Partner Resources

The next Big Energy Saving Week starts on Monday 21 January 2019. It is a national campaign to help people cut their energy bills and get all the financial support they are entitled to.

The week focuses on raising public awareness of how to save money on energy costs by switching energy supplier or tariff, accessing discounts or grants, and making homes more energy efficient.

This is the 8th Big Energy Saving Week and is a partnership between Citizens Advice Scotland, Home Energy Scotland, Citizens Advice and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy with the support of numerous organisations, charities and companies.

Support the week

We would love a range of organisations – from Citizens Advice Bureaux to housing associations to local voluntary groups – to spread the word about energy issues and order free resources to spread energy saving messages. Big Energy Saving Week (BESW) will run from Monday 21 January 2019.

The theme for this year's campaign will be 'Check, Switch, Save' and we will be encouraging consumers to switch energy suppliers.

Monitoring, evaluation and client questionnaires

Monitor outcomes at your events using this form and guidance

This is compulsory for Silver partners, but we would love all partners to do so so we can accurately measure our full impact.

After Big Energy Saving Week we would be very grateful if partners could fill in an evaluation form. This is compulsory for all funded partners, but we would love all partners to do so so we can accurately measure our full impact.

Silver partners will need to complete client questionnaires at their events and follow up questionnaires 2 weeks later. Other partners are very welcome to complete these as well.
