CAS released the latest edition of the Energy Brief underlining the pressing energy challenges people across Scotland are facing and explores potential solutions.  
 
Key findings from the Energy Brief include:    

• Energy debt is out of control after years of unaffordable costs, with the average energy debt presented to the network from July to September above £2,300
• Demand for crisis energy support remained high in the warmest, lightest months with 2,214 people referred for fuel voucher
• The rollout of replacement RTS meters continues to impact people, compounded by rising demand for support with smart meter issue
