"Cost of Living" Outreach Adviser - Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau

Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau offer an opportunity for a part-time Outreach Adviser to join our highly successful team. The Generalist Adviser/Outreach Worker will provide a high standard of holistic advice and support across various outreach locations across Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh.  The project is designed to address crucial community needs and disadvantages faced by individuals, particularly those marginalised and vulnerable. A considerable knowledge of benefits, money advice and associated legislation is desirable, as is excellent communication, training and interpersonal skills.

The role will encompass providing information, advice and representation to our clients. The post will be based in the CAB office in Portree, although the service will be delivered in various locations throughout Skye & Lochalsh. A current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
