Citizens Advice Bureau West Lothian are looking for a suitably experienced training officer to focus on the training and development of paid staff and volunteers within the bureau. The successful applicant will work with the management team to develop and deliver the bureau’s training and development strategy to ensure that our workforce is trained to the highest standard possible to ensure the delivery of service excellence to our clients.
We are looking focused individual with experience of providing training and workforce development preferable in an advice provision service or similar organisation.
You will be a team player and will be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the Bureau and with external agencies and organisations.
You will have strong oral and written communication skills together with excellent presentation skills. We are also looking for a proven ability to work effectively, be well organised and to work without supervision. Proficiency in using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including case management systems, online forms and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
You will have strong promotional skills in order to attract suitable candidates for work within our organisation.
Committed, results-driven and supportive to the needs of others, you will be able to work well within a team and have a willingness to follow and develop agreed procedures.
