More about the job

About the job

Due to a restructure of the organisation, the Bureau is looking to recruit a key role to form part of the Management Team. The role will work closely with the Bureau Manager and the General Service Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the Bureau and its development for the future.

The Training and Quality Supervisor will be responsible for the recruitment, training and support of new volunteers. We recognise the continued need for this due to increase in workload as a result of COVID so this area of work will be a priority for the Bureau and we will continue to explore professional and flexible ways to deliver our training.

Another key aspect of the role is quality assurance; the post holder will oversee audit process for Citizens Advice Scotland and Scottish National standards.

We are looking for someone with experience of advice work but, most importantly, who has the experience of working supporting, training and developing volunteers. We are looking for someone who can work under pressure, has excellent communication skills and is a people person who can lead on our Training and quality assurance with limited supervision.
