More about the job

About the job

This is a Scottish Border wide project funded by The Warmer Homes Fund.  The bureaux in the Scottish Borders are working in partnership with Scottish Borders Council and Changeworks.  Our part is to offer income maximisation, basic budgeting and support through the various stages of applying for welfare benefits.   We are looking for client-focused individuals to deliver a holistic advice and support service and carry out face to face sessions with clients and undertake casework. A clean driving licence and access to a car, to ensure the ability to travel within the Scottish Borders Region, is essential.

Peebles and District Citizens Advice Bureau is also looking to recruit Welfare Benefits Adviser to fill a 14 hours/week position (please see advertisement) and would be happy to consider applications from individuals who would be interested in a 28 hours/week position, combining both of these roles.

How to apply

For an Application Pack please contact: Gill Westwood, Manager, Peebles and District Citizens Advice Bureau at manager@peeblescab.casonline.org.uk.  Alternatively an application pack can be downloaded from the Citizens Advice Scotland website at: www.cas.org.uk.
