Energy Best Deal Worker (full time, 6 months from phase three of Scottish Government road map to relaxing lockdown) Stirling Citizens Advice Bureau

Purpose of the Post

The Energy Best Deal worker will promote & deliver the Energy Best Deal project & provide a comparative switching & advice & support service for families, older people & the general public within Stirling District.

1. To help educate and inform, enable and empower clients to take appropriate action to reduce their fuel usage by delivering a comparative analysis & switching electricity and  gas provider support service using the Energy Best Deal toolkit.

2. To record, monitor & report Energy Best Deal activity in line with the funders’ requirements.

3. To provide advice which fulfils the objectives of the Energy Best Deal project – maximise income (via comparison & advice & support to reduce electricity & gas bills assistance) & to obtain cheaper providers for via an Energy Best Deal approach to switching.
