The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint a new Director to lead the organisation and to provide strategic direction to its staff and volunteers. The successful candidate must be able to work within an exciting and challenging environment; you will work with the board of trustees to develop our new strategy for the next 3 years and the post holder will have a key role in shaping the direction of the charity.
Main Responsibilities
- Overall operational control and management of the Bureau – including management of staff and budget: within the agreed legislative, strategic and operational management frameworks.
- Strategic and operational relationships
- Delivery and development of Quality of Advice Services
You will be an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated individual with proven managerial, fundraising and, preferably, voluntary sector experience
A socially aware person, with good communication skills and the ability to manage a team of staff and volunteers are prerequisites for this demanding position. A commitment to developing and expanding the advice service throughout Dundee, including digital service provision is required. You will be passionate about volunteering and an ambassador for our organisations aims and principles. In addition to this, you will have to have many personal qualities to be a success is role.
