Central Borders Citizens Advice Bureau are seeking application from suitably experienced individuals to join their staff team and also the teams in Peebles Citizens Advice Bureau and Roxburgh & Berwickshire Citizens Advice Bureaux. As the posts will require a mixture of home working and spending time in all 3 Border Bureaux areas, a driving licence and access to transport is essential. This is a three-year project funded, in the main, by the Robertson Trust.
The Training Officer is a full-time position, covering the Scottish Borders Council Area to recruit and deliver training to new and existing volunteers and also ensure that continuous personal development and a high standard of advice is maintained.
The training Worker is a 21hr per week position. The Worker will support the Training Officer and also be a mentor to new volunteers.
Central Borders Citizens Advice Bureau will consider individual applications for each of the above posts, or where candidates have the skills and experience for both posts some flexibility can be exercised to cover the skills and experience relevant for each of the posts.
