About the job

The Money Advice Coordinator will provide debt advice, practical support and representation for people with multiple debt issues. The post holder supports clients and money advice caseworkers to help ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the service.

The Money Advice Coordinator will provide detailed administrative and casework support to the South Lanarkshire CAB Debt Helpline Team.

You will be a well-organised administrator with excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills with experience of a busy public facing office. The successful candidate will be able to self-manage workload and be a good team player. With attention to detail and a person centred approach, you will have the ability to provide practical support to people using our services. You will be flexible and co-operative to ensure the delivery of support to meet citizens’ needs.

We anticipate the service will operate for 55 hours per week and the team will work on a rota basis. This will include some evening and weekend working. Full induction, training and support will be provided.
