Our service continues to grow and expand, and we are now delighted to recruit for a new Income Maximisation Worker to join the highly successful Making it Work for Families project.

The successful applicant will work alongside existing partners Fife Gingerbread, Clued-Up and Fife Intensive Rehabilitation and Substance Use Team, to provide income maximisation advice and support including assessing welfare benefit entitlement, budgeting assistance, and information on banking services and affordable credit. The service will also actively refer both internally and externally where further issues are identified eg debt issues.

The successful candidate should have a desire to help lone parents and families and will need to be well organised with good planning skills with a well-disciplined approach to work.

Experience of working in an advice giving capacity and/or a knowledge or interest in the social security system would be advantageous but not essential.
