More about the job
Ross and Cromarty CAB have been running for over 50 years serving the people of our local community. We provide free, impartial, independent, and confidential information and advice to anyone who needs it.
We are a member of the Scottish Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux which is more commonly known as Citizens Advice Scotland. However we are a fully independent and autonomous bureau – meaning that we can concentrate on providing the services needed by those living in Ross and Cromarty.
We are a registered Scottish charity and a registered company and, as a voluntary led organisation, many of our team are volunteers who give up their spare time to help the people within their community.
As Bureau Manager you have overall operational control and management of the Bureau. You will work with, and be directly accountable to, the Ross and Cromarty Citizens Advice Bureau Board of Directors.
You should have a minimum of 3 years managerial experience in a public facing, service delivery organisation. Just as importantly, you should support the principle of voluntarism. Ideally candidates will have an understanding of local authority structures and decision-making processes.
In return for your dedication, you’ll receive a competitive rate of pay plus our benefits and rewards package including:
• Flexible working
• Hybrid working (Home / Office based)
• Bonus Holidays at Christmas and New Year
• 40 days annual leave
and so much more!
If you’d like to use your skills in an organisation that goes above and beyond to provide support to those who need it, this is a rewarding place to be.
