Advice Worker - Minority Ethnic - East Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau

East Dunbartonshire CAB, based in Kirkintilloch, is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local residents.

To work alongside and re-establish relationships with minority groups in East Dunbartonshire, including those within resettlement schemes. Gather information relating to the issues that affect the quality of life of minority ethnic groups. Provide independent information and advice through referral appointments or drop-in at CAB, home-visits or outreach surgeries.

Knowledge of benefits and associated criteria is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of current Immigration and resettlement criteria is also essential.

The post will be based in Kirkintilloch with service delivery throughout outreach locations within the East Dunbartonshire area.
