Welfare Benefits Adviser (Part-time; Fixed Term) - Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service

The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team providing welfare benefits and diagnostic advice to residents of Dumfries and Galloway to maximise household income. 

S/he will work collaboratively with a variety of support agencies to encourage referrals and ensure individuals have access to timely advice, information and practical support.  The post holder will handle complex casework and, from time to time, provide on-going support to volunteers recruited to the team.
