Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for a highly motivated person with the drive and enthusiasm to manage the recruitment of volunteers who will be trained under the Advisor Training Program.

The successful candidate will provide support and supervision to the 2 volunteer support workers and be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and assisting with the recruitment and training of volunteer staff. The Volunteer Development Officer will be responsible for identifying, planning and delivering a range of adviser, advanced and specialised training to volunteer advisers, with a specific remit to develop a specialist knowledge of Carers rights.

They will work closely with Local Carers Centre, liaise with Citizens Advice Scotland training staff, bureau tutors, staff of other agencies and external training providers as necessary and maintain training records for each individual specialist trainee.

The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate others and work in a team setting.  They will have experience in advice giving and understand the aims and objectives of the CAB service.
