The Patient Adviser will work within the areas of Lochaber and Skye and Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau. The Patient Adviser will primarily provide advice and information to clients who wish to give feedback or comments, or raise concerns or complaints to the NHS, support bureaux volunteers, produce quarterly statistical reports and liaise with external organisations.
You will also provide a wide range of advice to clients who are users of the NHS and contribute to a national telephone and online helpline service. Previous experience of working in an advice setting would be advantageous although full training will be given.
You will be resourceful with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to professional development and teamwork. A proficient knowledge of the use of IT would be an advantage.
The applicant must be a car owner with a current driving license.
This role is subject to PVG check through Disclosure Scotland.
