Local Energy Advice Project -Specialist Energy Advice Worker, Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau

Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for a highly motivated person with the drive and enthusiasm to develop and deliver a new project across Clackmannanshire area providing home visiting and outreach in the area of energy efficiency advice.

The Specialist Energy Advice Worker will be responsible for providing a high quality specialist advice and assistance to residents of the Clackmannanshire region. This will be predominantly  be providing face to face advice via outreach and home visits in the area of assistance with switching providers, reducing energy costs, identification of grants available and marketing and promotion of the service all with a goal to alleviate fuel poverty.

The successful candidate will have experience of energy advice and/or an excellent knowledge of the issues facing consumers. They will have have excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills and be computer literate, with a proven ability to work in partnership with other agencies including the Local Authority.

We expect candidates to be self-motivated and results driven and have a commitment to the principles of the CAB.
