Purpose of the role: to provide support and mentoring for volunteer advisers and to assist with training and quality assurance procedures to ensure the provision of high quality advice.
You will provide support to advisers on a day-to-day basis and you will assist with the development and delivery of training in the bureau and with case-checking for enquiries. You will carry a small caseload of complex cases. You should have recent experience of providing advice and a comprehensive understanding of the benefits system and welfare reform changes with an understanding of other advice issues. You will have excellent communication skills and be a confident user of IT.
