CAS responds to the Money and Pensions Service Listening Document

CAS has responded to the Money and Pensions Service listening document.

The Money and Pensions Service (MAPS) was created under the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018. MAPS are an arm’s–length body, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a commitment to ensuring that people throughout the UK have guidance and access to the information they need to make effective financial decisions over their lifetime. They are funded by levies on both the financial services industry and pensions schemes.

The Act brought together three different providers of advice under one roof, i.e. Pension Wise, The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) and the Money Advice Service (MAS).

The listening document outlines and seeks views on what the priorities of the Money and Pensions Service should be in the coming years.
