About the job

The Head of IT will support the delivery of the organisation’s strategic aims, through the management of strategic IT, communication, and plans; as well as the management of people development within the IT function.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role holder will be the technical expert within the organisation, and will enhance the capabilities of the IT function provided by a team of circa 16 members of staff. 

The Head of IT will lead the function through an exciting period of change within the IT Architecture and will be responsible for creating a framework for success, including Service Levels, KPIs and a balanced scorecard.

Salary will be dependent on skills and experience but will be consistent with similar senior roles in the not-for-profit sector.
