Easterhouse Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for an experienced Welfare Rights Worker to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will place the highest priority in delivering a quality advice service to the residents of Greater Easterhouse.
The Welfare Rights Worker will be required to undertake detailed casework, provide support and supervision to volunteer advisers and provide representation for clients at Unified Appeal Tribunals. Proven experience to the level of representation is desirable however, training can be provided. Knowledge of money advice and welfare benefits is essential as is the ability to carry out research work.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, organisational skills and IT skills. They will also have the ability to prioritise workloads and to work on their own initiative.
Some evening and/or weekend work may be required.
