Easterhouse Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for a Training/Support Worker to join our team. This is a key post within Easterhouse CAB and as such we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will place the highest priority in delivering a quality advice service to the residents of Greater Easterhouse.

The Training/Support Worker will be responsible for the recruitment and training of volunteer advice workers within the bureau. This role will also involve developing and delivering ongoing training for all staff within the bureau. They will also be required to undertake detailed casework and will provide support and supervision to volunteer advisers during advice sessions and monitor casework. A considerable knowledge of money advice and welfare benefits is essential as is the ability to carry out research work.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing, co-ordinating and delivering training, an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, organisational skills and IT skills. They will also have the ability to prioritise workloads and to work on their own initiative.

Some evening and/or weekend work may be necessary.
