Citizens Advice Scotland, based in Edinburgh, is the umbrella organisation providing support to Citizens Advice Bureaux across Scotland.
Citizens Advice Scotland, our 60 member Citizen Advice Bureaux, the Citizen Advice consumer service, and the Extra Help Unit, form Scotland’s largest independent advice network. Advice provided by our service is free, independent, confidential, impartial and available to everyone. We are champions for both citizens and consumers and in 2017/18 the Citizens Advice Service in Scotland helped over 295,100 clients in Scotland deal with over one million issues overall.
Citizens Advice Bureaux need to be able to ensure that all advisers and other staff are given high quality training and support to develop and maintain competence in their role. Training is provided as a partnership between bureaux and Citizens Advice Scotland.
We are currently looking for a Training Officer (Learning Technologist and Designer) to join the training team to provide a range of learning opportunities that support Citizens Advice Bureaux to meet Citizens Advice Scotland and external quality standards for advice work.
The successful candidate will have proven effective face-to-face training and instructional design skills. You will also have a great ability to produce learning material in a range of formats including elearning and authoring software.
