Angus Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people. We are a friendly and welcoming team made up of 14 paid staff and around 30 volunteers that offer generalist advice to clients alongside more specific projects. We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our Debt Advice team in the Bureau, to support the Senior Debt Adviser in managing the caseload of Debt clients, and embarking on a learning programme which will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to manage your own caseload of Debt clients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in supporting clients as they work with our Debt Service to address their debts. They will assist the Debt Service by providing a triage service for clients who require access to debt services and money advice. They will also undertake training to be able to deliver advice and carry out casework over the course of the fixed term contract. We expect candidates to be self-motivated, have excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills and be computer literate with a commitment to continuous improvement. They will understand the importance of excellent customer services and have a commitment to equality and diversity.
