Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS), based in Edinburgh, is the umbrella organisation providing support to Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) across Scotland.

Advice provided by our service is free, independent, confidential, impartial and available to everyone. We are champions for both citizens and consumers and in 2016/17 the Citizens Advice Service in Scotland helped over 309,000 clients in Scotland deal with over one million issues overall.
Pension Wise is the Government's free, impartial retirement guidance service that's open to anyone aged 50 or over who is seeking information about how they can turn their pension fund into a retirement income. Citizens Advice Scotland are one of the key delivery partners of the Pension Wise service, responsible for co-ordinating delivery of the service in Scotland, which is available through selected Citizens Advice Bureau.
We are currently recruiting for the post of Pension Wise Assistant Service Delivery Manager, on a fixed term basis until March 2021 (subject to funding).
This is a new role which has come about as a result of a recent expansion to the service, and will provide support for the Pension Wise Service Delivery Manager.
The post-holder will have a particularly important role in the planning and implementation of service improvement, promotion and change initiatives, as well as analysis and reporting of scheme data.
The successful candidate should have previous experience of supporting project co-ordination on a national scale and be able to demonstrate the associated skills and experience to ensure success. Whilst this role provides support to the Service Delivery Manager, you should also be able to work with autonomy and plan and initiate your own workload. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, as one of the key functions of this post will be liaising with key stakeholders including Pension Wise bureaux, other delivery partners, DWP and FCA.
Potential candidates should be aware that this role will require significant travel within Scotland and the UK.
