This post will be based within the Glasgow City Council Service Desk in John Street, Glasgow.
The post holder will take referrals from GCC Departments within the John Street Service Desk, by appointment, to work with clients on a wide range of Money Advice. A thorough knowledge of the Benefits System, Housing and Debt Management up to level 3 – Debt Arrangement Scheme and Sequestration is required.
Candidates must have experience and a proven record of working alone with clients on a face to face basis identifying / diagnosing money problems and dealing with a case load effectively and efficiently. The adviser will be responsible for maintaining case records using an electronic case management system.
