We are excited to announce we are recruiting for 2 Money Adviser positions in our busy Money Advice Unit.
The successful applicant will work as part of an existing team to provide a comprehensive and quality money advice service to clients, including assessing a client’s financial situation and identifying appropriate debt relief mechanisms. In addition, the post holder will be expected to work alongside other existing services in CARF including frontline services, and other projects, to the benefit of clients.
Experience is not always necessary as extensive internal and external training will be provided. Some of our staff have joined us from Fife Council, Banking, the Credit Industry and Collection Agencies, as well as other Customer Service related fields such as Call Centres.
The successful candidate may have experience and knowledge of existing money advice legislation and debt relief mechanisms available to clients in Scotland as well as knowledge of income maximisation.
A clear understanding of the importance of excellence in service delivery is paramount to success in this role, including, but not limited to, adhering to CARF’s internal quality assurance procedures.
Ideal candidates will have excellent written, oral and IT skills with experience in a general or specialist advice giving or customer facing role. The successful candidate will be committed to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Bureau and CARF. With the ability to identify personal development opportunities, the successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of an established team to deliver CARF’s vision and values.
