 A post has become available, funded by Bank of Scotland Foundation, at Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau offering an excellent opportunity for an exciting outreach initiative based in Alloa to extend our current outreach programme.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with the drive and enthusiasm to provide information, advice, assistance and tailored financial education for those experiencing poor mental health.  In addition to provide a home visiting service throughout Clackmannanshire for those with severe mental health issues.   The successful applicant will provide essential skills to vulnerable clients which will enable them to manage short and long term money issues.

A working knowledge of welfare benefits and a holistic approach is required in order to assist with income maximisation.  The successful candidate will effectively manage their own workload in an organised and professional manner and have the ability to produce and maintain records thereby allowing statistical monitoring as required.

The individual will have excellent interpersonal skills and will understand the aims and objectives of the CAB service.

(Please note we are also advertising for the post of Patient Adviser (PASS Project) and consideration will be given to one person undertaking both roles, depending on applications)
