Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS), based in Edinburgh, is the umbrella organisation providing support to Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) across Scotland.

Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS), our 61 member Citizen Advice Bureaux (CAB), the Citizen Advice consumer service, and the Extra Help Unit, form Scotland’s largest independent advice network. Advice provided by our service is free, independent, confidential, impartial and available to everyone. We are champions for both citizens and consumers and in 2014/15 the Citizens Advice Service in Scotland helped over 323,000 clients in Scotland deal with over one million issues overall.

We are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide specialist input into our Data/Stats Hub project by helping to embed industry learnings and best practice on Business Intelligence (BI) reporting into the in-house CAS team. The role is for a fixed term period of 6 months.

This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in furthering our data collection and analysis practices and maximising the reporting capability created by the Data/Stats Hub project. We are looking for an experienced individual with in-depth knowledge of designing, developing and implementing reporting solutions.  You will have excellent analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of working with SSRS, SSAS and data cubes.  You should also have experience of working with data warehouse platforms and reporting suites such as Birst, Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos or Pentaho.
