About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with good communication skills to lead the team at Argyll and Bute Citizens Advice Bureau and to work closely with the Board on the sustainable development of the Bureau.

An enthusiastic, socially aware person is a prerequisite for this demanding position as well as having a commitment to develop and expand the advice service throughout Argyll and Bute.

Good organisational skills are essential and experience in advice work would be advantageous, as would knowledge of IT systems and their applications.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate substantial experience in people management, financial control and strategy development, ideally, but not essentially in the third sector.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently with good organisational skills and be responsible for all aspects of the management of the Bureau.

The successful candidate will be required to travel efficiently and effectively to meet operational needs.
