Aberdeen Citizens advice Bureau is a Charity that has been providing advice and information to the people of Aberdeen for over 80 years. The Bureau gives all clients free, confidential, impartial and independent advice on a wide range of subjects including; Benefits, Debt Advice. Employment Immigration, Consumer Issues, Relationships and Housing.

We are seeking a Bureau Manager with the right skills, experience and attributes to lead our team of volunteer and paid staff and to work with the Board to develop and deliver our strategic plan.

The successful candidate will be able to work within an exciting and challenging environment; be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with proven managerial and fundraising experience and an ability to lead a growing team.

He or she also will have sound financial and risk management skills, the ability to organise and manage the systems necessary to meet performance requirements as well as the drive and skills to increase the visibility and reputation of the CAB as well as to attract new and sustainable forms of income. A vision for the future of advice services, a passion for social justice and the ability to deliver quality services in a volunteer based, third sector organisation with a trustee Board is also essential.
