Board of Directors, Airdrie CAB

Airdrie Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) are looking for dynamic individuals to join their Board of Directors and assist with the strategic direction and future development of the Bureau.

Airdrie CAB is a leading information and advice provider in the Airdrie, North Lanarkshire area.  The Board is made up of people from a range of professional backgrounds and currently has vacancies for new members.

The Board are seeking applications from individuals residing in Airdrie and surrounding areas and are interested in those with skills and experience of organisational development and an awareness of charity law and third sector. We are particularly interested in those with knowledge of local issues and experience in accounting and financial management, human resources, public relations, marketing, digital developments, legal expertise and Strategic Development. Candidates should be 18 or over and either live or work in our operating area of Airdrie locality or surrounding areas.

Trustees meet six times a year with meetings held in the evening at Airdrie CAB. In addition, Director’s are expected to attend Annual General Meeting and participate in development and training sessions.

The position is voluntary and reasonable travel expenses will be paid. All Directors are required to be members of Airdrie Citizens Advice Bureau. There are no fees associated in becoming a member of Airdrie CAB.
