Motivated person required who has experience in advice work or a similar environment and has a working knowledge of the Welfare Benefits System.
Following job specific training you will support existing advisers and work directly with clients to maximise their income by identifying full benefit entitlements and assisting clients to make successful claims. In particular you will have the ability to work in a fast changing environment to assist clients to maximise their income and reduce the risk of rent or mortgage arrears due to the effects of Welfare Reform.
This post is initially for a fixed term of 1 year.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and be a proficient user of the internet. You will have the ability to research complex material, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
