The Patient Advice and Support Service is overseen by a Monitoring and Evaluation Advisory Group which provides a forum for obtaining advice and input from key stakeholders in order to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of the service. It reviews and agrees the content and format of quarterly and annual reporting; monitors relevant aspects of service delivery including feedback from service users; identifies and facilitates sharing of areas of good practice and offers recommendations to support future development and continuous improvement.
More information about the work of the Group can be found in its terms of reference.
The terms of reference include a list of the Group members, who include representatives from across NHSScotland and the wider patient advocacy and support landscape. The Group is chaired by the Scottish Health Council. The Group meets throughout the year to review progress against the agreed action plan.
The minutes from Group meetings are made available below once they have been approved.
