About the job:
Musselburgh Citizens Advice is looking to recruit an experienced Welfare Benefits and Income Maximization officer. This post is funded through the successful East Lothian Advice Services Contract which is now in year 3 of the contract. You must have an in-depth up-to-date knowledge of the benefits system, particularly relating to disability benefits, and have with a good track record at mandatory reconsideration and appeal. You will have excellent organisation, communication and IT skills and the capacity to manage a complex caseload.
