Scottish Parliament want to hear from those with Long-term Conditions affected by welfare changes

8 Oct 2013

The Scottish Parliament Welfare Reform Committee would like to hear from people with, or caring for those with, long-term conditions and get their thoughts about how welfare changes are impacting on them. This is part of the Committee's ‘Your Say’ initiative where MSPs aim to hear from those who have been directly affected by welfare reform.

The Committee is looking to run an evidence session within the next few months looking at the impact of welfare reform on those with long-term conditions, generally health conditions that last a year or longer, impact on a person’s life, and may require ongoing care and support.

If you know anyone who would be interested in sharing their story, you can find out more on the Committee's website.
