As part of the funding to support bureaux in mitigating the impact of social security changes, we have worked with bureaux and commissioned research to understand the drivers of successful partnerships. This is an invitation to attend a workshop that explores this in more detail.
Bureaux across Scotland build local partnerships with other organisations, all with the same goal: to deliver improved outcomes for clients.
But what makes an effective partnership and how can relationships be strengthened?
CAS is running a workshop at The SCVO Gathering to share the learning we have gathered. The workshop will provide an opportunity for delegates to review the local arrangements they already have or may be considering. It will develop practical, simple steps that are client-focused and that will improve the relationship for all parties, leading to the delivery of seamless client support. These will recognise the power of local arrangements, in particular looking at the strength of informal networks as well as when to introduce greater structure.
The session will be useful to people from bureaux looking to build on their partnership arrangements, as well as any delegates who wish to look at ways to strengthen their own relationships, be that with their local Citizens Advice Bureau or with other organisations.
The outputs from the session will be communicated via CAS news.
Do come and join us.
