CAS is undertaking an independent assessment review of its governance arrangements and has today announced the appointment of Deloitte to lead this process.
The Deloitte team, led by Dr Jay Bevington, will shortly begin work on a detailed and independent assessment of CAS decision making and governance structures, with a view to reporting and providing recommendations in the summer of 2016.
As Deloitte’s UK Board Advisory Practice lead, Dr Jay Bevington is a leading expert on boards and governance, having worked with over 250 Boards in the previous ten years across private and public sector. Jay will be supported by a Deloitte team with extensive experience in public and third sector governance.
Commenting on the appointment, CAS Trustee and sponsor of the governance review, Jon Turner said:
