The NHS 24 non-clinical service for general coronavirus enquiries is changing its operating hours.
NHS 24’s COVID special helpline (0800 028 2816) deals with general coronavirus enquiries and supports individuals who don’t have internet access to book PCR tests.
From Monday 30 May 2022, operating hours will be 0800 - 1800 (changing from 0800-2000) and will be Monday to Friday only. There will be no weekend service. This is because of a fall in demand as a result of the changes in public wide testing and staying at home advice.
