CFU Energy Conference 2016

The Consumer Futures Unit invites you to register for our upcoming conference ‘Energy in Scotland – the Future for Consumers’ on 29th June.

There will be keynote speeches by:

  • The Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy - Paul Wheelhouse MSP
  • Erika Lewis, Project Director of the CMA’s Energy Investigation

 This free conference will introduce the conclusions of three Consumer Futures Unit energy research projects, with the following breakout sessions:

  • Review of energy efficiency and fuel poverty schemes – future design of schemes
  • Delivering energy efficiency to off gas, rural Scotland – reaching the rural fuel poor
  • Taking stock of the smart meter roll out in Scotland – smart rollout and beyond

The conference will conclude with an expert panel discussion: “How can consumers benefit from the new Scotland Act energy powers and the CMA’s energy market remedies?”
