Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) have responded to the statement made this morning by the government on the future of the consumer landscape.
CAS Chief Executive Designate, Lucy McTernan, said,
“We are talking to the government about how to make the consumer landscape more efficient, and easier to use by the citizen. Our priority is to get the best possible outcome for the people of Scotland, so they get a consumer advice network that they can engage with as simply and effectively as possible. and we are keen to play any role we can in that process.”
Lucy McTernan will take over formally as CAS Chief Executive on 15 November.
