“I was self-employed but stopped when I had my daughter. But I still wanted to do something part-time so, as I’d once used a CAB years ago, I joined the local bureau.
What I like most is the variety of issues you encounter and the clients and volunteers you meet.” |

“I am studying finance at university and felt I needed to gain some work experience.
A lot of the problems that people bring to the bureau do relate to debt and money. I helped one woman to reclaim £1,500 in bank charges accrued over six years.
So it’s certainly a good way to be able to help people.” |
