Become a bureau volunteer

The CAB service in Scotland depends on volunteers.

Almost 80% of citizens advice bureau staff in Scotland are trained volunteers.  If all these volunteers were paid the average hourly wage for the time they give to their local bureau each year, we estimate that the cost would be more than £6 million.  That’s quite a bill!

In this section of the website, you can find out about the different kinds of roles that volunteers undertake for their local bureau – and what they get out of it.   You can also Apply to be a volunteer online, and find your local CAB so you can get in touch with them directly.
